Use those old Christmas cards to make pretty ornaments for your tree 🙂
Recycled Christmas card basket video:
Found the idea here:
Cut your Christmas cards into strips. The size and length of the strips will change the shape and size of your completed ornament. I found that a Christmas card with an approximate size of 5″x7″ looks nice cut into 1/2″ strips. You can also spray paint the blank size of the card before cutting if you want. If your card as a picture on it, be careful to keep the strips in the same order when you cut them. Punch a hole each each end of each strip.
Add an ornament hanger/string to a craft brad and then stack the card strips on the brad and secure. Add a second brad on the other end. The brad’s “wings” will go on the inside of the ornament.
Gently bend the stack of card strips and then fan them out into an ornament shape.
