After running our Beta site for over a year at the old domain, we’re now in our new home. OhSo Green is the name! And welcome, if you’re new here.
As mentioned in my last post, we redesigned a whole bunch of stuff based on the feedback from our members. And one thing our members always asked for was to open the community up to search engines. We’ve done that.
This means that everything you post in our community – a link to a new article in your blog, a new video in your YouTube Channel, a link to a new recipe you added to your blog – it will be logged in ALL search engines for posterity. Any image you add to our community, if you add the right hashtags, will also be logged and searchable in Google; Bing and all other search engines.
That won’t say much to our regular community members. But for our members who run a vegan business or blog, this is huge!
Since our entire platform is exclusive for the vegan and eco-friendly niche, we do talk A LOT about veganism – vegan recipes, vegan fashion, the vegan lifestyle. In short, we use a lot of the very keywords that you, the vegan blogger, are trying to rank on Google for.
Did you just write a new article about vegan lipstick? Or did you just publish a new video on your YouTube Channel about the vegan way of life. You’ll, no doubt, share the link on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and Pinterest. And each one will direct some traffic to your blog.
But nothing favours your blog more than linking it from a site whose content is predominantly based on your very keywords – veganism! And that’s us!
This means that, adding a link in our community to your blog will direct ever-growing “juice” to your blog, for example. With each new link you post to our community, your ranking will rise in search engines like Google on a daily basis.
In our platform, you can now share your links, videos, images, even podcasts. We’re setting up tutorials to show you just how easy it is to use our platform to your business’s advantage.
Get active, interact and grow your following. Because, now you can even share what you’re posting on Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Vimeo or Twitter straight into your timeline. That’s how you grow a real following!
Next week, we’ll be introducing you to our brand new GreenTV – our take on a Green YouTube. You’ll love it. And we’ll have plenty more news. So, do sign up to our newsletter and stay tuned.
See you next week!
