I hand make all my collars in my workshop at the foot of the North Downs. All my dog collars can be tailor made to fit your dog.
The material I use to make my collars is a leather like material which is waterproof, because it doesn’t absorb any water, it will not get smelly.
My collars can get really muddy and they are really easy to wipe clean and put straight back on. If things get really bad (if your dog likes to roll in poo) they can be disinfected.
All the collars have silver coloured buckles, D rings and rivets. The metal parts are all nickel plated brass or zamak alloy. They will not rust in sea water.
I make all of the collars to order and are normally ready to ship in 1-2 working days.
Please make sure you measure your dog’s neck to ensure you get the correct fit. When correctly fitted a dog collar should be sufficiently tight, so that it won’t pull over your dog’s head. You should be able to fit 2-3 fingers between the collar and your dog’s neck. Use a tape measure or a piece of string to measure around your dog’s neck where the collar would normally sit. I measure the collars from the centre of the buckle to the middle hole, so for example if your dog’s neck measures 12” (30cm) I would recommend an XS collar. Have a look at my “How to Measure” guide in the photographs.
If you need some help with sizing, just let me know.
