  • Superb. #homegrown food will forcibly be the future for us all. Literally. In Paris, there are tons of buildings, residential and commercial, who are already using the rooftops to grow food for the residents of the building. Restaurants are using rooftops to grow vegetables, beans and fruit to serve fresh at their premises. It proves that some have adapted to the changing times we live in today, where our lands no longer have nutrients to supply our ridiculous demand for food, like we see in Paris already.

Everybody seems to be enjoying the #homegrown food niche these days. It started when the quarantine began. Near where I live, in France, me, my friends, my family, we all had a hard time getting to a supermarket to buy the basics. The lines outside were incredible. Home delivery ceased to exist. And the fear of being outdoors was real. So, my friends and I started surfing the net for videos about growing food ourselves at home. Lettuce, tomato, carrots, onion, garlic, even potatoes. • I can confirm this. I was there in February and it’s a fact. Individuals and businesses alike in places like #Belgium and #Denmark have also been taking steps to utilizing the rooftops to grow fresh, organic vegetables to serve the local community. In Cairo, #Egypt there’s a guy who has been giving away seed to the poorer areas of the city, teaching the locals how to care for the seeds and showing them how to use the fresh produce to feed their families and make money from the vegetables and fruits they grow. People are definitely taking action! Thanks @Jack and @ecowarrior

  • When I find a good one, I tend to keep it playing in the background. The mind is a wonderful machine that can multi-task even if you don’t feel you can. So, if when you find yourself doing some more mundane task that requires little mind-work, try listening to one of these podcasts. You could be learning something new while you’re busy with something else. Time-saver!
